La mission

We are looking for a high-calibre, hands-on Business Developer to support our development in the United States. Based in New York and working closely with our Paris team, you will combine client-facing responsibilities, business development, project follow-up and the preparation of high-quality strategic and commercial materials. This is an operational role for someone intellectually strong, highly organised, and comfortable moving quickly from analysis to execution. What you’ll do Act as the local point of contact for clients and prospects in New York and the US, attend meetings, and ensure consistent follow-up. Prepare and deliver client presentations, credentials, pitches, and commercial materials, adapting our message to each opportunity and audience. Work closely with the Paris team to prepare meetings, coordinate actions, and ensure systematic follow-up on opportunities and client requests. Turn client conversations into clear next steps, action plans, and deliverables, ensuring that commitments are followed through. Coordinate the preparation of proposals, RFP responses and pitches, gathering input from our creative, project, technical and commercial teams. Research prospective clients, upcoming museum and cultural projects, decision-makers, partners and market opportunities — with a strong focus on actionable intelligence rather than desk research. Maintain a clear pipeline of opportunities, priorities, deadlines and next actions and provide regular reporting to Paris. Develop and maintain relationships with museums, cultural institutions, foundations, architects, designers, developers and other key stakeholders. Represent Museum Studio at relevant meetings, events and industry gatherings. Support the team on ad hoc strategic and business development projects, including market analysis, client mapping, and preparing senior-level briefs. We are looking for someone bright, intellectually curious, rigorous, and highly operational. You should be equally comfortable analysing a complex subject, building a compelling PowerPoint presentation, presenting it to a client and making sure every action is followed up afterwards. You will bring: -Excellent intellectual and analytical capabilities, with the ability to quickly understand complex projects and client environments. -Outstanding PowerPoint, writing and presentation skills. -Confidence in client-facing situations and the ability to present clearly and professionally. -Strong organisational skills and a genuine exe, and preparing through mindset. -The ability, and preparingly in New York while maintaining very close coordination with the Paris team. -Excellent spoken and written English. -Curiosity for museums, culture, design, architecture and creative industries. -Energy, maturity, judgement and a strong sense of ownership. - Previous experience in consulting, business development, project management, cultural projects or another demanding international environment would be particularly relevant. -Graduates of Sciences Po Paris, HEC Paris, Paris Dauphine–PSL, ESSEC, École du Louvre, or an equivalent institution are welcome to apply; relevant skills and experience matter more than the school attended. -French is a plus but not essential.
