La mission
We are looking for a hands-on data profile with engineering discipline, high standards and real professional maturity. The ideal candidate should be able to understand both the technical and business purpose of the data: improving Jolt.Ninja’s ability to identify, organise and interpret relevant information in Japan and in Japanese. This role is particularly suited to someone who is still young enough to be eligible for the VIE programme but has already demonstrated professional reliability, ownership and resilience in a demanding work environment. Key Responsibilities • Clean, structure and enrich Japanese-language data used by Jolt.Ninja, ensuring accuracy, consistency and usability across internal workflows. • Review and improve the quality of company, market, investor and ecosystem data related to Japan and the broader Asian market. • Work on LP-related data, including data cleansing, categorisation, validation and enrichment, in coordination with the relevant internal teams. • Identify recurring data quality issues, propose improvements and help build more robust processes for Japanese data integration. • Support the adaptation of Jolt.Ninja to Japanese-language content, including naming conventions, search relevance, entity recognition, translation nuances and local business terminology. • Collaborate closely with the Jolt.Ninja team in France to test, document and improve data pipelines, quality checks and user feedback loops. • Help map relevant Japanese data sources, ecosystems, investors, companies and strategic partners that may support Jolt Capital’s local development. • Contribute to the creation of structured datasets and documentation to improve the platform’s understanding of the Japanese market. • Support ad hoc analytical projects involving market intelligence, portfolio monitoring, sourcing or investor data. • Maintain strict confidentiality and data integrity standards when handling strategic, investor-related or proprietary information.
