La mission

Celette is a global group of 150 employees, with subsidiaries in France, Thailand, India, China, and the USA. Most production units are located in Thailand, India, and China, and the R&D center and global headquarters are based in Thailand Celette is establishing a presence in Latin America through a subsidiary in Brazil called Celette LATAM. The volunteer will be the local relay of the project leader located in the United States and the headquarters located in Thailand. His mission will be to support the on-site operational launch. The role is to get this new location up and running as soon as possible following the guidelines and strategic decisions of the project leaders. The VIE will report on a day-to-day operational basis to the Technical Sales representative for the Latin America market, based in the USA, and will report more broadly to Celette's management, based mainly in Thailand and France, for overall project governance. Regular visits from the project leaders will ensure that the volunteer is closely supported for the major decisions and ensure a proper follow up of the project. The mission will be diverse and will mainly be but not limited to: • Be the local contact to find the right building to start our operations in Brazil • Help the project leader to talk with local future suppliers • Prepare the installation of a training center • Work closely with our partners locally, lawyer firm and accountant in Sao Paulo • Start discussion with Brazilian distributors to ensure sales opportunity for the future of the subsidiary The volunteer will have to be autonomous and able to work without a local management always present on site. The volunteer will be hosted in a shared office; type business France or the chamber of commerce. This mission is an incredible opportunity to develop transversal skills and gain hands-on experience in following a project from its early stages. As the overall project will extend beyond the duration of the VIE, a successful mission could naturally lead to the volunteer continuing to contribute to the project, if both parties are willing, potentially with broader responsibilities over time.
