Mission: As a Solutions Engineer, you will support Ateme’s North American business by contributing to the technical sales process for complex video solutions. Working alongside the Solutions Engineering team, you will help design, present, and validate solutions that meet customer requirements and support the sales cycle through implementation handoff. Key Responsibilities: Technical Discovery & Solution Design: • Partner with Sales and Marketing to align solution design with customer business and technical requirements. • Participate in technical discovery and progressively take ownership as your experience develops. • Contribute to solution architecture, implementation approaches, and roadmaps alongside the Solutions Engineering team. Demos, POCs & Proposal Support: • Prepare and deliver presentations, demonstrations, and Proofs of Concept (POCs) in customer environments. • Support the technical aspects of RFI/RFP responses, including scope assessment, solution recommendations, and proposal support. • Support the creation of statements of work, bills of materials, and technical documentation. Customer & Cross-Functional Collaboration: • Explain complex technical topics clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Work as a bridge between Sales and Delivery to support smooth project execution and implementation. • Represent Ateme alongside the team at industry forums, trade shows, and customer events. • Provide technical training and guidance to customers and partners. • Support the end-to-end sales cycle and progressively take greater ownership of the technical side of opportunities. What We’re Looking For: - Education: Master's degree or Engineering degree (Bac+5) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cloud Computing, Distributed Systems, Network Engineering, or a related technical field. - Cloud & Microservices: Good understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), microservices architectures, and APIs. -Technical Foundation: Strong knowledge of Linux, IP networking, virtualization, and troubleshooting in distributed environments. - Software & Automation: Familiarity with scripting (Python, Bash), automation, and CI/CD tools is a plus. - Industry Exposure: Initial experience through internships, apprenticeships, academic projects, or a first professional experience in cloud, software infrastructure, or technical engineering. Exposure to video streaming, broadcast, or OTT technologies is a plus. - Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills, technical curiosity, and the ability to investigate complex technical issues. - Communication & Collaboration: Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and work effectively with Solutions Engineering, Sales, and other technical teams in an international environment.
