La mission

Are you ready to accelerate your career in one of Europe’s most thriving tech hubs? At Extia, our motto is "First who, then what!" We believe in nurturing talent and fostering an environment where innovation thrives. We are currently looking for a passionate and automation-driven DevOps Engineer to join our team in Lisbon through a V.I.E contract. Often referred to as the "California of Europe" and proud host of the Web Summit, Lisbon is a booming technological capital. It offers a unique blend of vibrant professional dynamism, cutting-edge startup ecosystems, and an unparalleled quality of life. By joining us here, you won't just be taking a job; you will be immersing yourself in a highly stimulating, fast-paced international tech community that will fast-track your career, all while enjoying the sun, the ocean, and a rich cultural city. Working in a hybrid model and handling highly strategic environments, you will be the bridge between development and operations, ensuring seamless, scalable, and secure deployments. Your responsibilities will include: - CI/CD Implementation: Design, build, and maintain robust and automated Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipelines (using GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps). - Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Provision, manage, and scale cloud infrastructure using modern tools like Terraform and Ansible across the "Big 3" Cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP). - Containerization & Orchestration: Deploy and manage scalable containerized applications utilizing Docker and Kubernetes (K8s). - Monitoring & Reliability: Implement advanced monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog) to ensure high availability and performance of critical applications. - Automation & Security: Automate repetitive operational tasks (Python, Bash) and integrate security best practices into the deployment pipeline (DevSecOps approach). - Collaboration: Act as a technical evangelist, working closely with software engineering teams to foster a strong DevOps culture and streamline release processes.
