La mission

The Procurement Agent coordinates inbound material flows and spare parts availability from supplier order creation through delivery to warehouses, ensuring dealers receive the highest service level. Reporting to the Procurement Manager, the procurement agent works in daily direct contact with suppliers and coordinates with all departments within the supply chain (planning, purchasing, logistics, warehouses, customer service, invoicing) to ensure parts availability for dealers, understand market requirements and constraints, implement appropriate actions, and achieve customer service level, supplier service level, and customer backorder targets. • Organize, lead and facilitate meetings and conference calls with suppliers and/or various supply chain stakeholders. • Gather delivery information from suppliers, assess whether it meets company requirements, and negotiate improvements when necessary. • Define and implement processes to address supply-related issues. • Coordinate the internal management of any issues impacting customer deliveries and product availability. • Monitor invoice payment lead times, guide suppliers in understanding the payment process, and coordinate the resolution of payment-related issues. • Maintain accurate, clear, and up-to-date delivery information in internal systems. • Use performance reports to communicate priorities to suppliers. • Determine and implement corrective actions with suppliers and monitor their effectiveness. • Support and actively contribute to achieving Parts Operations organizational objectives. Autonomously, the Procurement Agent is responsible for an international portfolio of approximately one hundred external suppliers. They organize their work according to business priorities to ensure excellent customer service. They analyse performance indicators and implement corrective actions when necessary. They respond to supply chain emergencies by raising alerts when required and proactively identifying all possible solutions and alternatives to resolve backorders.
